I have been In The industry for 12 years and have been teaching for 2. I really want to provide a high standard of education. I quickly realised I did not want to offer one day qualifications. Or teach so many students I cannot provide the correct support and observations.
The courses are set out so you can complete them over time, and really embed the knowledge and develop your skill before going out to work on your own.
I am currently setting up a members area, whereby you can sign up and watch videos to help you nail your technique (COMING SOON- watch this space). This will be a short demonstration of what has been demonstrated in the classroom. Only amor students can access this area at this time.
Amor academy offers Courses are accredited by The Beauty Guild, and on completion you will be issued with a certificate. At this point you will be able to purchase insurance from them, and can begin working on clients immediately. Courses are open to beginners looking to start their nail career and qualified nail technicians looking to up-skill and learn modern trends and methods.
The learning platform is modern, you can log on to your student learning platform and complete your theory. Once completed you can then arrange your practical learning.
There is a fee payable to the guild for access to the online learning portal. This is £25 per course. If enrolling on multiple courses, please enquire as I may be able to secure a discount on multiple enrolment fees.

My name is Samantha Whittaker and I am an accredited educator at Amor Academy. Here you can learn both accredited courses, workshops and bespoke learning. I have been in the industry for over 10 years, I trained with NSI nails Manchester in 2010. I am committed to providing excellent education and training to help you strive in your career. My aim is to provide tailor made training to all my students to excel in this industry.
Where possible class numbers will be limited to four, and training will be tailored to suit each learners individual needs.

Introducing a new standard in nail training. This exclusive training will provide you with all you need to create the most perfect structured Acrylic Tip Extensions. A forever classic in the nail industry.
On completion of this course, my aim is to provide you with the knowledge, practical training and confidence to start building your successful nail business. With ongoing support and an exclusive members area where you will find recap videos and tips.
This course is delivered to two student max, and therefore you will receive a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 training. No more sitting in a classroom of 20 where you can’t even see the demos properly.

What can you expect?
I really wanted to provide training where students had plenty of tutor time, so from the offset, I knew I couldn’t just do a 1 day course.
Courses are structured as follows, to ensure you feel confident you have fully achieved everything you will encounter in your own and are ready to begin your nail journey.
Month one
Enrolment - You will receive your welcome to the Amor Nail community, and you activation emails for your online learning modules. Over the next four weeks you can complete these modules at your own pace. At this stage, I am at hand to answer any questions by telephone, zoom or even in person.
This is the core knowledge of your future as a nail technician. Theory is so important and key to becoming successful.
Month two
This is where the fun starts, where you begin to fall in love with your new skills. You will be invited to your practical days 1&2 of your course. All your knowledge and skills will begin to come together and the magic will happen. You will create awesome nails! You will create your first set, a magical moment that you will never forget. We will begin your record of achievement on this date.
You may be tasked to create a business plan, social strategy, pricing structure & set goals
You will have access to the members area. Showcasing all the areas covered in class. (Coming soon - small charge applies). This will be the perfect refresher to keep checking your application and routine is always on point.
You will spend the next 4 weeks practicing/learning and correcting common teething issues.
You will need to submit 5 case studies.
Week 8 - I welcome you back to the classroom to finalise your practical assessment.
On completion of this……… you will be a fully qualified in Acrylic Nail Tip & Overlay . You will be able to purchase insurance and begin your new nail career.

Day 1 - 9.30 - 4.30Day 2 - 9.30 - 4.30This complete beginners course will be all you need to start your nail career. 3 Days - Once booked on the course you will need to enroll with the accrediting body, this is £25. You will then complete the theory and assessment online before attending your practical learning. This includes a branded starter acrylic kit. Balance due 4 weeks prior to your preferred practical course date. This will allow you 4 weeks to complete the online theory module. £200 non refundable deposit
